What it looks like

How two languages work in the games
Pick any two languages from the 142 language options, and every game uses both. The same picture is linked to both words, so neither language is the “base” and neither is the translation of the other. Flashcards shows one button per language, Memory Match and Word Blocks use one card or block per language, and Sound Match, Listening Match and Reading Match play and ask about both.
One language only
Every game also works in a single language, for families who want to build first words in one language, or who want to practise a home language on its own. You can switch between one and two languages whenever you like.
Without reading
Your child does not need to read to play any of the games. In Listening Match and Reading Match, children see written words, and every word is spoken, so they learn to recognise letter patterns first and the sound gives a hint.
Frequently asked questions
Which ages are the games for?
EveryLingo is designed for children aged 0 to 6. Flashcards, Memory Match and Sound Match use pictures and sound only. Listening Match and Reading Match also show written words, and each word is spoken, so children learn to recognise letter patterns before they can read.
Can my child play in one language only?
Yes. Every game has a one-language mode, and every game also works with any pair of languages from the 142 language options or a language you add yourself.
Who speaks the words?
The ready-made words are spoken by high-quality neural voices chosen for each language and region. You can replace any word with a recording of your own voice, or a grandparent's.
Do my own words play in the games?
Yes. Words you create with your own photos and recordings play in all six games.
Are the games free?
Five of the six games are free to try with no sign-up. Word Blocks is part of the full version, a one-time payment of $29.99 USD, with no subscription.
Is EveryLingo speech therapy?
No. EveryLingo is a vocabulary tool for families. It does not treat or diagnose anything, and it does not replace professional support.
