About EveryLingo

Why it exists

EveryLingo began with one parent, born and raised in Croatia and living in Australia, who wanted her daughter's Croatian to flourish alongside her English. She was adding translations to children's books by hand, and found that some online materials were full of mistakes a native speaker would never make. She wanted first words to be genuinely bilingual from the start. Read the founder's story.

What EveryLingo is

EveryLingo is a vocabulary tool for families. It has 720+ ready-made words with pictures and audio in 142 language options (75 languages and their regional variants), and lets you add any language or dialect with your own photos and voice recordings. You can play in one language or two, with both treated as equal. See the six games.

Who it is for

Families with young children in the speech acquisition phase: multilingual and bilingual households, parents living abroad who want to keep a home language alive, families preserving minority or Indigenous languages, and any family who wants a flexible, personal way to build first words.

What it is not

EveryLingo is not speech therapy. It does not treat or diagnose anything and does not replace professional support. If you are worried about how your child is talking, in any language, ask your doctor or a speech-language pathologist.

Who makes it

EveryLingo is made by Every Lingo Software Pty Ltd, in Australia, and was founded by a Croatian-born parent. Its early stage was funded by the Central State Office for Croats Abroad.
