These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the EveryLingo app and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Every Lingo Software Pty Ltd ("EveryLingo", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Who this applies to
EveryLingo is designed for use by a parent, guardian, or other adult ("account holder") on behalf of a child. Only an adult may create an account, make a purchase, or manage account settings. Children use the app under adult supervision.
2. What EveryLingo provides
EveryLingo is a vocabulary-building app that offers preloaded vocabulary content across many languages, along with tools to create personalised vocabulary cards using your own photos, voice recordings, and words. The app is provided for educational and family use.
3. Purchases
EveryLingo is offered as a one-time purchase, not a subscription: either Lifetime Access, or a 30-day pass that does not renew automatically. The current price is shown at the time of purchase. Payments made on our website or in the web app are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. If EveryLingo is also offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play, purchases made there are processed by that store and are subject to that store's own refund policy.
4. Your content
When you upload photos, record audio, or add custom words, you retain ownership of that content. You grant EveryLingo the limited right to store and display it back to you within the app, solely to provide the Service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use any photo or recording you upload.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Account deletion
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app. See our account deletion page for instructions.
7. Privacy
Our handling of personal information, including information relating to children, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Changes to the Service or these terms
We may update the app or these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated terms here with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Disclaimer
EveryLingo is provided "as is." While we work to keep the app accurate and reliable, we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
